| Description | The header file contains agendas, minutes and cover letters relating to The Arts Council of Great Britain. They cover both general meetings held at The Shaftesbury Theatre, Policy Sub-Committee and those of the Drama Pane [covering the Drama Schools and New Drama Committees also]. Subjects covered ranged from finances, youth theatre, new productions, and drama education to policies. Herbert sat on these committees.
There are also some minutes for other committees sent with letters to Herbert in order to canvass her opinion for example, from the New Designers Committee. Also included is: Interim Report, 1966 into young people's theatre; memos on grants; summaries on theatres: and a copy of the Royal Charter granted in 1966.
