The file contains costume designs in dark and muted colour tones, annotated by character. The garments are Victorian in design. There are a number of portraits for example, 5152. The colours used for upstairs women are burgundies [see 5162] and downstairs women blues [see 5179] whilst the men are in greys/black with strips of colour. There is a swatch attached to 5169 and 5174.
