| Description | Director Lindsay Anderson. The file contains set drawings. The drawings are very detailed in pen and colour and each one has an annotation identifying the location. The colours employed are very rich and their addition to the pen lines gives the designs vibrancy and depth of field, the colour palette uses autumnals except in 3216 and 3222 were brights are added to the scheme. A few designs are uncoloured, here Herbert has used pen and built up the design through many marks and scratches, some of these drawings have a colour wash [grey or pale blue]. All have actors in position in the location. A number detail sections of the set for example, 3211 shows the boot room door and 3212 shows a moonlit corridor. 3215 contains different drawings of shower heads on the left hand side and drawings of the shower room on the right hand side. Herbert has employed a small amount of collage on design 3219 to represent posters and newspapers in Denson's study.
