The file contains costume designs. the costumes use black and a muted palette of smoky tones [of blue etc]. The designs are annotated with the characters name, many also have the scene the outfit is for and some additional notes for example, 0160 on colour. The designs are an early example of Herbert working on a classically inspired/based piece and as such display some design features that reoccurred and developed during her professional career for example, 0161.
