The file contains set drawings: the stage requires total darkness with a mouth upstage, right who speaks and a speechless/standing figure downstage, left. The mouth is the actor's mouth and not painted, the designs show two colours were considered white and red for the mouths make-up. 1491-2 storyboards the play. It also contains Herbert's notes on Not I after talking to Beckett and on the reverse notes and drawings for Krapp's Last Tape.
