The costumes vary in style from showgirl outfits to Edwardian day clothes, this is also reflected in the colours that range from black bases with jewel detailing to pastels; depending on the status of the character. They are annotated by character name and some have additional information for example, 1927 and 1932 have a tags attached contains costume notes. On some more than one view is drawn such as 1890, the verso is shown such as 1899 or characters are seen interacting such as 1905. Many are drawn as fluid line drawings for example, 1897 and include props for example, 1903 a carry case. The set designs are designed on a round stage with some sets including a second floor by means of stairs and a mezzanine for example, 1873; 1880. There are notes on some of the designs such as 1874. Some also show characters place into the set and so the staging is discernable for example, 1877. 1974-5 are ground plans for the stage.
