The colour palette is jewels with costumes in a Romanesque style except for 4802 [Marcus Aurelius] who is in white tie. They are annotated by character name and some also include props for example, 4798, grapes. 4801 shows the character dressed and also a line drawing of a garment [uncoloured], possibly an under slip. 4820 appears to be research into military attire. The set featured a map, depicting Rome and Europe in bright colours [probably painted on the floor of the stage], 4818 shows the dimensions and 4787-90 shows the map. Kaisers was performed in the round with wooden stalls [in the Austrian amphitheatre]. 4792-4 show how the staging worked for example, where the actors entered from. A tunnel was utilised, as the entrance for actors and 'animals', this is shown in 4810-11. Prop designs are also included such as a gold wheel chair [4812], this is also shown uncoloured with 'animals' [4813]. 4821-35 depict elevations of the staging, including a subterranean animal pen and columns. 4836 is a collage of an amphitheatre.
