| Activity | Saint-Denis (neé Magito), who was born in Russia, assisted such directors as John Gielgud, John Dexter and David Lean. She had been affiliated with the Juilliard School since the creation of its drama division in 1968 by her husband, Michel Saint-Denis. He died in 1971, and Suria Saint-Denis was was named consultant director to the drama division faculty that year. |
