Description | Report entitled 'Report of the Oxford University Drama Commission, with Supplementary Architectural Report'. The report is about the study of drama in American Universities and the possible application of the American practice for drama studies at Oxford University. Recommends that a University Theatre should be provided at Oxford, and encloses architectural report with remarks on the form that such theatre may take. The proposed theatre building would provide for different theatre types within the same auditorium, namely a Greek Theatre, Elizabethan, Restoration, Georgian, Victorian and Modern Theatre.
