| Description | This file covers the process of drafting the new tripartite agreement between the Old Vic Governors, the SMNT Trustees and the Governors of the Memorial Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon, following the addition of Stratford to the Joint Council in 1960. In addition to the new tripartite agreement, a short agreement is also created between the SMNT Trustees and the Old Vic Governors, over-riding the old 1946 agreement forming the original Joint Council, thus making it possible for the new tripartite association to be created.
