DescriptionThe file contains correspondence and enclosures sent mainly between Theatre Projects Consultants Ltd and Denys Lasdun & Partners, but also with Flint & Neill Ltd, with correspondence copies of correspondence between Denys Lasdun & Partners and other contractors that they have sent on to Theatre Projects Consultants Ltd. There are also a number of architect's instruction sheets issued by Denys Lasdun & Partners largely related to quotations and putting in orders for new equipment and parts. The file covers every aspect of the installation and focuses on delays and holdups in the work of the sub-contractors, equipment failures and defects, modifications and remedial work, inspections and testing of work, meeting the Greater London Council's (GLC's) safety requirements so that they issue an entertainment licence, work still to be done and completion of that work.
