The file includes large sketches of the Olivier stage and seating, on one of which is written 'Upper Theatre Masking'; two figures showing the 'Control Desk (Hoists for National Theatre) and 'Control Panel Details'; sketches 904/SK 269 and 904/SK 270 showing details of the wagon components and set up; copies of a US article on round stages, stamped 'Jules Fisher Lighting Design. Original card folder disposed of. 'National Theatre: Open Theatre' is written on the spine. Most documents were marked with the reference number 904/4A Planning.
