| Description | The file contains minutes of the English Stage Company at the Royal Court Theatre which discuss programming and associated papers such as agendas, related letters and financial statements; on the recto of the agenda for 4 November 1974 is a sketch and annotations by Herbert. There is also information on theatre policy. Included is the Artistic Report and Future Programme by the Committee to the Management Council of the Theatre, 4 Dec 1973. There is a typed paper by Herbert suggesting questions which would compare the ESC policy in 1976 to the policy when the Company was formed twenty years earlier.
