DescriptionPhotographs of the inside of the National Theatre building after construction. Photographs are separated by location, whether they are Front-of-House (FOH) or Back-of-House (BOH). They are further labelled according to the specific area they depict, including but not limited to Restaurant, Commerce, and Foyer for FOH or Lighting, Planning, and Literary for BOH.

Many of the FOH photographs depict the National Theatre's restaurants and bars. Whilst the locations have remained the same across the years, the names and designs of the various establishments have changed. Briefly called the National Theatre Restaurant, the Theatre's main restaurant was named Ovations by 1977. It went through several name changes, from Mezzanine to House. Today, it bears the name Lasdun.
